Niche Blueprint 2.0

Here is something fresh:

I’ve read on the Blueprint Central Forums from Steve Clayton himself that they are soon to launch Niche Blueprint 2. Later I got an email confirming that Niche Blueprint 2 will be released on January 11th, 2010. I’ll try to get more information about what the new version will contain, so far I know it will have updated videos and manuals, updated ecommerce software, more tools and so on. Everything you would expect from Tim & Steve and the company.

Looks promising, I’ll try to keep up with the news about it. Look it up if you’re interested.

Understanding How Internet Marketing Works

11 December 2009 | No Comments » | Phil

So you want to make money online with some Internet marketing. But do you know how it works? Many beginners, and often even advanced marketers, think that Internet marketing is all about posting your links everywhere so that people can see them, follow through and buy a product. Others think that it’s a matter of building a website and getting as much traffic as possible. And yet another bunch of marketers think it’s just a matter of providing a good product and the rest will come automatically.

While all of these ideas have truth in them and they work, there’s an important lesson to learn here. There’s something that can’t be simply solved with Internet marketing tools. Let’s step back and talk about what the Internet is. In a nutshell it’s a big network of servers that host content on them in form of websites. This big network of websites is accessed by people who look for information.

Internet marketing on the other hand is getting the message out to those people. And there are two ways to approach this – rent or own the facility that is accessed by those people. In other words, a marketer either rents advertising space or buys the whole online real estate. This is where many marketers fall short.

It is common sense to apply classic marketing ideas to online world. We used to buy ads in magazines, newspapers, radio, TV, billboard, and so on. But we never bought the whole magazine, newspaper, radio, TV or billboard just to place our ad. That didn’t make sense. On the Internet it makes sense, unfortunately not every marketer understands it.

The prices of online real estate are small enough as compared to advertising prices (sometimes buying a whole website is cheaper than advertising!) and the long term return on investment is huge. Think about it for a moment, what if you had 1000s of websites in your disposition and getting your message out would be free of charge every time?
